1. Definition of Zero-AI

• Zero-AI is Aces Editing's guarantee that generative AI will not be used to process, alter, produce, or deliver manuscripts submitted by clients. All edits are reviewed and performed manually by a human.
• Aces Editing does not provide a humanization service to remove the AI footprint of manuscripts you provide that may have been generated or altered by AI. So if you send in a manuscript that has been influenced by AI, Aces Editing is not responsible for removing that footprint so that the manuscript passes through AI detection software.
• Thus, Aces Editing does NOT guarantee that the processed and delivered manuscript will pass AI detection tests (such as Turnitin or ZeroGPT). This is because 1) the client may have used AI to produce the initial manuscript, and 2) AI detectors are often overly aggressive and falsely flag natural language as AI-generated.

2. Client Confidentiality

• No manuscript shared with Aces Editing will ever be shared with any other party, not even as samples of prior work for prospective clients.
• Should such a requirement arise (for example, for a case study on this website to showcase Aces Editing's process and results), client permission will be sought in advance.

3. Academic Integrity

• Concerning university research papers and application essays, Aces Editing understands the importance of upholding academic integrity. Thus, Aces Editing does not offer to prepare such manuscripts from scratch. Aces Editing's service for all academic work is limited to language editing (spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, structure, tone, word choices, flow, engagement) and professional feedback or guidance on writing quality and content. The initial draft will always be written and provided by the client.
